WD Photo Viewer app hops onto iPhone 4

Photo Viewer Devices with the ‘i’ effect are followed by a string of applications and accessories. Needless to say, we are talking about Apple products. WD gets into the picture with the newest release of its Photo viewer app for the iPhone 4.

The app offers remote access to images stored on WD network hard drives which include My Book World Edition, My Book Live and WD ShareSpace.

Keeping users connected with their digital photos, this app tags along a plethora of new features. To begin with, app owners can digitally zoom into a photo with the pinch and zoom function. Social networking enthusiasts can post photos from WD Photos to their FaceBook wall. The slideshow transitions feature pan and zoom, page curl and cube. It comes with support for iPhone HD/OS 3 and 4.

Appearing in native iPhone resolution, the app allows users to access about 285,000 of their favorite photos from any place with Internet access. All that users need to do is just copy their pictures into the ‘Shared Pictures’ folder on their WD network hard drive.

This free app can be downloaded from iTunes. However, users need to register with WD’s free, secure MioNet remote access service.
