Verizon Wireless upgrades Motorola Devour with Motoblur

Motorola Devour Verizon Wireless has announced software upgrade for Motorola Devour with Motoblur, reveals Engadget. Now, users can enjoy improved performance by downloading the OS enhancements that Verizon Wireless has to offer. The software version, called CALAND_X_01.15.08P comes inclusive of a number of enhancements and improvements.

The software upgrade promises to improve the overall performance of the device. Users may notice the improvement in response time once the Menu, Home and Back keys are pressed. Adjustments have been made to enhance the accuracy of signal strength indicators on the display screen as well. The browser, contacts and V Cast Music with Rhapsody applications seem to have been worked upon to bring greater stability.

Incoming call performance has also been tweaked to improve the overall performance of the phone. Moreover, the volume keys presumably will work while running the mobile IM application. Also users can now upload pictures in their correct orientation without having to transform them. As for the email content, users can now easily delete POP3 accounts without any hassle. The upgrade changes display so as to make the user aware of using a back slash rather than a forward slash while signing up for a new email account.

The Exchange ActiveSync Calendar has been enhanced to view meeting titles easily. Users need not fret over re-signing to verizon.net, as the existing accounts will be auto-configured. Also there seems to be significant improvement to the ringer, voice dialing application and multimedia audio while using a headset. The Devour 1.15.83 contains the upgraded versions of Google applications.
