Rock music lovers now surely have a reason to rejoice, the eternal Beatles are here to take users down the lane of memories. Finally, after what seemed like eternity The Beatles have graced the iTunes Store. Yes, Apple Corps, EMI and Apple jointly announced that the all the 13 legendary remastered studio albums and the iTunes LPs can now be purchased and downloaded from iTunes.

Along with these, the two-volume ‘Past Masters’ compilation, the classic ‘Red’ and ‘Blue’ collections will also be available. Each of the 13 albums feature iTunes LPs that augment the immersive album experience with a classic design and expanded visual features. In fact a mini-documentary related to the creation of each album has been included.

“We love the Beatles and are honored and thrilled to welcome them to iTunes,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “It has been a long and winding road to get here. Thanks to the Beatles and EMI, we are now realizing a dream we’ve had since we launched iTunes ten years ago.”

“The Beatles and iTunes have both been true innovators in their fields,” said EMI Group CEO Roger Faxon. “It’s a privilege for everybody at EMI to work with Steve Jobs and with Apple Corps’ Jeff Jones and their teams in marking a great milestone in the development of digital music.”

Fans who love the group’s music either can pick up the entire album or individual songs. An additional digital Beatles Box Set subsuming the ‘Live at the Washington Coliseum, 1964’ concert film and the iTunes exclusive Beatles’ very first US concert. The Box Set retailing for $149 will be loaded with the 13 remastered studio albums with iTunes LPs, all the mini-documentaries, ‘Past Masters’, ‘Live at the Washington Coliseum, 1964’ concert.

Moreover, it will include an international iTunes exclusive which encompasses the Beatles’ very first US concert in its totality. The ‘Live at the Washington Coliseum, 1964’ concert film can be streamed and viewed from iTunes for free until the end of 2010.

iPhone owners may procure single albums for $12.99 each, double albums for $19.99 and individual songs for $1.29 from iTunes.
