Sygic Mobile Maps launched for Nokia N900 in Europe

Sygic Logo Sygic Mobile Maps application for Nokia N900 has been launched in the European market. This application comes complete with navigation features, multi-user settings, fastest route calculation, convenient operations and latest maps uploaded to the device. With the help of this application, users can turn their mobile phones into navigational devices.

The mobile maps application can be implemented on any mobile phone or smartphone with leading mobile operating systems like Symbian, Maemo, Android and Windows Mobiles inclusive of Windows Mobile 6.5. The application is compatible even with different PDA, PND and MID devices that depend on Windows CE, Windows XP/Vista or Linux. The navigational ability of the maps does not depend on the mobile network provider, but rather is independent of it as it utilizes latest maps on the device.

These maps come with quiet a few benefits for the user like availability of latest maps on the mobile phone, safety provisions are ensured with speed cameras, limits and railway crossings, lane assistance, guidance in native language, summary of journey before starting off with it, easy search for eating out and rest-inns, ability to avoid road-blocks and customizable navigational screen. The premier region available is Europe and has no user time limit put on it as yet. The maps are exclusive of Western and Eastern European countries such as Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany and others. Maps with information on transit roads only include Albania, Macedonia, Serbia, Belarus, Moldova, Montenegro, Bosnia – Herzegovina, Romania and Ukraine.
