Just days after the Tablet S made its way to India, the UK now sees the official release of the Sony Tablet P. The new tablet promises more productivity and better functionality with its dual-screened, clamshell structure.

Reported to have been made available on these shores by Android Central, the 370g device with two screens arranged at an adjustable angle, boasts of Sony’s TruBlack display technology. It is said to control the refraction of light between the screen and the LCD, thus displaying better colors and vibrant pictures. But users who are not content with the viewing the stored or streamed on either of the small screens have an option of switching to a bigger one by utilizing the built-in DLNA media apps along with the home network.

Going by all the functions that the Tablet P has to offer, it seems like it is set to entice avid readers as well as gamers too. Catering to on-the-go needs of book lovers, this foldable slate gives direct access to the Reader Store which has over 2.4 million selections to choose from.
