PrivacyStar application enables unlimited call blocking for Android

PrivacyStar App AndroidMost mobile enthusiasts would agree on how being haunted by unknown calls which can’t be avoided can get troublesome. Well, to handle such kind of situations First Orion introduces the PrivacyStar application for Android smartphones. This application enables users to block unwanted calls and also offers caller ID, Caller Lookup, ability to report telemarketing violations and more.

Unwanted calls previously attended can further be avoided in the future by selecting the number from the application’s call activity list. After adding the same numbers in the Privacy List, the call will be blocked the next time it arrives. With the Caller ID feature, users can view the name of the calling person while the phone is ringing.

Jeff Stalnaker, CEO of First Orion, commented, “We are excited to introduce PrivacyStar to the Android community. PrivacyStar offers a host of features that will appeal to everyone who wants to increase the functionality of their phone, from unlimited call blocking to our newest, groundbreaking addition – Caller ID. PrivacyStar is the first app that provides mobile users with the same Caller ID service that consumers typically have on their landline phones.”

Furthermore, users can recognize unknown callers by name and can then take necessary action against them by adding it to the contacts or Privacy list, thanks to the Caller Lookup feature. The application automatically employs crowdsourced data and blocks the top offenders by keeping the current one as per their wish. The Do Not Disturb feature allows users to forward all the non blocked incoming calls into voicemails. It later sends them a custom text message addressing the call and reason for not attending it.

The application also keeps a track of the possible violations and captures detailed information which includes date, time, number and identity. Users can further provide this information to the law enforcement authorities for necessary action. With the fully integrated personal web portal, users can manage the PrivacyStar account, block and unblock callers and perform number look-ups. It also provides additional details on violations.

The PrivacyStar application can be downloaded from the Android Market at a price of $2.99 per month or for discounted semi-annual and annual periods. Users can also gain a first-hand experience of this application for a no risk free 7-day trial period.
