NTT Docomo all set to roll out stylish Samsung Galaxy S on October 28

The device sports a vibrant 4-inch Super AMOLED high-resolution touchscreen. Apart from viewing full HD videos, the handset allures users with multi-touch functionality, thereby enabling them to enjoy intuitive control of their screen. Owners can capture crisp images with the integrated 5MP camera with HD video capabilities.

Dressed in an attractive metallic black shade, the offering lends support to Flash and is powered with the efficient Android 2.2 OS. Users can immerse themselves in various apps available through the docomo market and Android Market. The newest entrant supports Docomo’s sp-mode service which enables smartphone owners to seamlessly access i-mode mail accounts.

The company plans to offer an e-book distribution service for trail basis on the same day when Galaxy S sales begin. Weighing just 118gms, the device is capable of delivering standby time of around 510 hours for 3G and 480 hours for GSM while talktime of about 380 minutes for 3G and 420 hours for GSM.
