Booyah’s MyTown application for iPhone now available in global markets

Booyah MyTown ApplicationThe MyTown application previously allowed U.S. consumers to buy and own their favorite stores with a blend of new and exciting levels through an enhanced interface. Now, Booyah expands its location-based application and goes global to include Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. Crafted for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad devices this application adds some enticing features which will further enhance their gameplay.

To begin with, this international version is claimed to be the first one to support global check-ins which bestows the Places Web Service through the Google Maps API. It further returns the 20 renowned places near a given location and provides the most appropriate results. As per the Booyah blog, this application also boasts of the Product Check-ins feature which allows users to scan the barcodes of the objects around them to unlock virtual items and rewards.

For those unaware, the MyTown application rides players through 10 varied levels and 2 new building upgrades. They can check-in and utilize any mentioned items effortlessly. The application also enables them to customize the look of their purchased properties. Besides, they can view the highlighted stamps that cause an effect on the buildings as well. Users can also earn relevant level awards on special items as they play the game.

Users can download the MyTown application 4.1.2 through iTunes for free. In the coming weeks this application will be arriving to more countries as well.
